OMETEPE by Gera Woltjer will be on display at the Rockingham Arts Centre from Wednesday 7 February until Sunday 25 February 2024. During the talk, Gera will discuss the inspiration behind his series of artworks focusing on OMETEPE, a volcanic island located in Lake Nicaragua. His fascination with the island began when he visited it several years ago, and he was struck by the beauty and power of the twin volcanoes.
